Prepare your sauce of choice and set aside.
Prepare and cook your meat of choice, we like to use a combination of meatballs and sausage. Chop the meat into smaller bite size pieces and set aside.
Preheat the oven to 375°. In a 9×13” baking dish, layer the ingredients as follows:

6 LARGE DOLLOPS OF RICOTTA – distributed evenly
MOZZARELLA

6 LARGE DOLLOPS OF RICOTTA – try to alternate the placement from the previous layer

Do this until your final lasagna sheet top layer. Then cover the top lasagna sheet with a thin layer of sauce. With a knife, poke about 6 holes into the lasagna for ventilation.
Bake lasagna covered with foil for 35-40 mins. Then bake uncovered for the remaining 5-10 mins. After removing from the oven, allow the pan to sit about 10 mins before serving.
